Sarfaraz’s journey towards founding Valuence Academy was born out of a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by fresh graduates in navigating the competitive landscape of the professional world, he was determined to create a solution that would bridge the gap between academic learning and practical employability.

His career trajectory began at Evalueserve, where he immersed himself in a pivotal financial research project for one of the world’s leading Investment Banks. It was here that Sarfaraz honed his skills and gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of financial analysis and corporate finance. However, his entrepreneurial spirit yearned for new challenges, leading him to embark on a journey with HSBC.

In 2010, fueled by his passion for empowering young minds, Sarfaraz leaped and founded Valuence, which also provides XBRL conversion services. Drawing from his extensive experience spanning over 17 years in financial research, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, Sarfaraz was driven by a singular vision: to equip students with the practical knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

He has worked with companies spanning from sub-consulting to Investment Banking, offering a range of Finance and Banking Services including roles at Escorts Securities, Evalueserve, and HSBC. He holds an MBA in Finance and IT from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with his family and read books.
